Meet our Board of Directors
Mr. Aminu Tukur is the Vice Chairman of Noor Takaful Insurance Ltd, the first full fledge takaful operator in Nigeria.
He joined Noor Takaful in 2018 as General Manager and he was responsible for Finance, Investment, and Marketing. In April 2019, he was appointed Acting Managing Director/ Chief Executive and in September 2020 was confirmed as Vice Chairman.
Aminu was born on January 15, 1977, and he attended the prestigious Kings College Lagos for his secondary school education. He studied accounting at the University of Abuja, Nigeria. He subsequently proceeded for his Masters at Nottingham University Business School, UK where he acquired an MBA. He has a diploma in Wealth Management & Finance from the New York Institute of Finance USA. He has attended various courses in Islamic Finance, Insurance, and Pension.
Aminu enjoys farming, traveling, and playing tennis. He is involved in various development activities through two NGOs to improve financial inclusion and education.
She is an astute finance professional and an aggressive, yet ethical, fund manager, who is committed to the financial empowerment of her clients.
