Meet our Board of Directors
Mr. John Okoro attended Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agricultural Economics.
He also holds an MBA and MSC in Banking & Finance from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He joined First Bank of Nigeria Plc in August 1984 as a Credit Officer and held several senior and management positions in the bank, and took part in several re-engineering programs that transformed the bank before exiting in December 2010 after more than 25 years.
Mr.Okoro was first appointed to the Board of Directors of ABC Transport Plc. in August 2012 and had served in different Board and Committees functions to date.
He attended numerous training programs at home and abroad including Information Communication Technology (ICT)program in Bangalore, India in 2001/2002.
He is a member of several professional bodies and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (FCIB)and Enterprise Risk Management Professionals (FERP).
He is currently the MD/CEO, of Summertime International Ltd. a firm of Financial Consultants and Business a firm that provides Financial Consultations and Business Facilitators on Small and Medium Scale Industries.
